Advantages: Lovely characters, great family pet, great to watch Disadvantages: Takes more looking after than you would think

Lifespan
The average life span of a rabbit is 7-10 years. You are taking on your pet for around a decade or even a bit longer so this is definitely something to take into consideration when thinking of buying a rabbit.
Other things to consider
Although they are different shapes, sizes and colours, pet rabbits basic nature and needs are the same as a wild rabbit.
Rabbits are active! They need plenty of space, a spacious run outdoors or freedom to run around the house for several hours every day. Cages should be burrows to rest in, not prisons!
Rabbits are sociable! Wild rabbits live in colonies, never on their own. Your pet will need plenty of company either from you, a bunny companion or maybe even both b

it also help digestion of food and obesity will occur less. It will keep the teeth in trim aswell.
They should be given fresh fruit and vegetables daily.

They should be provided with tunnels and various other toys to bite, toss, or chew to keep them happy because when they get bored they start to be lethargic. They also like to dig so a box filled with woodshavings is also great. They love cuddles and can be very affectionate. rabbits prefer to be by your side rather than being picked up as they are scared of heights.

Rabbits can be housed indoors and outdoors.
*outdoors a hutch atleast 3 feet in length is great. The cage should be lined with woodshaving and plenty of hay should also be provided. the cage should be cleaned weekly and litter tray daily.
