The Di-Fusion 19" TFT monitor is a screen for the computer, just like the one you're staring at now. If you still have a CRT (TV sized monitors), then the one I'm reviewing is a flat version of that. CRT's are outdated and flat screens are fast becoming the standard.
The Di-Fusion has a silver frame with black everywhere else. The screen is easy to set up and involves connecting the screen to the 'foot' so it can stand, connecting the VGA cable from the PC's graphics card to the monitor, power and sound cable to your PC (optional). I think the silver plastic looks a bit cheap but only if I look closely. Like most TFT monitors, you can physically adjust the angle of the screen by tilting it. I bought my Difusion flat panel over 6 months ago as as my old CRT monitor was on its last legs and about to kick the bucket.
As with all things the death of a vital computer component never really fits well with your cash flow so cost was definitely a major concern for me at the time.
After a look around the web at screens between 17" and 19" I was drawn to the low price of the difusion, points such as the screen size and contrast ratio were selling it to me right away, however the 16ms response time was a slight concern but as I was not familiar with how that would reflect in the games I played I went ahead and ordered it. From a price point of view I paid just over £175 give or take a few pounds, im sure it's about the same or even less now.
A few days later and it arrives, unpacking was easy as the screen is held in two bits ...
