Advantages: The lovely Lucy Lawless
Disadvantages: Hidden away on C5!!

...Xena: Warrior Princess is a spin-off series from another mythical/fantasy-based show, Hercules. Introduced as an auxiliary character, Xena, played by Lucy Lawless, proved sufficiently popular to warrant her own show & in doing so, has successfully eclipsed the series which conceived her. Once amoral but now firmly rooted on the side of good, Xena traverses the ancient world of myths, legends & historical figures righting wrongs & battling the evil forces of this world & that of the gods. She is aided in a semi-lesbianic fashion by her sidekick, Gabrielle. The series scores best in not taking itself too seriously..indeed some of the storues are downright comical...but there is also drama aplenty.... Read review

Advantages: Three of the BEST episodes form season 2

...I brought when it first came out, because i absolutely loved these episodes. For all the people that don't know Xena here's a little background for you. Xena is a ex-warlord trying to right the wrongs for what she did as a evil warlord, along the way a young girl joins her called Gabrielle. Together they fight warlords, demons, Gods trying to bring the evil down in the world. This show has it all from comedy, thriller, Damara, horror etc and deals with adult themes as well. Girls Just Wanna' Have Fun, is a episode based on Bacchus the god of wine and his deadly bloodsucking followers. Orpheus, the musician with his Lyre keeps the blood suckers at bay is deprived of his body by Bacchus, he can no longer play his lyre and thus the Bacchae are on the loose.
