Setting up the Playstation 2
Setup is simplicity itself and is completed in moments. Position the console so that you can access the flip top to load disks, you can still use a vertical stand to have your PS2 standing proud although obviously the vertical stand for the fatter PS2 will not work. Plug in the AV cable to the socket at the rear of the console and use the euro-AV connector for a scart connection or the video and left/right audio sockets for a connection of the non scart kind. The ps2 is a great console although it is almost10 years old. It has alot of features that anyone can use with ease. On it you can watch Movies, Play games and also play online with people around the world providing that you can internet access on it. there are a wide variety of games available for it and they are also quite cheap. The playstation itself can come quite cheap with prices starting at £40 in some shops. You might also want to get some accessories for it such as the vertical stand, the eyetoy camera and the DVD remote if you want one. The only bad points about the playstation i would say are the fact that it is quite fragile and would break easily. ...

It was only £10 which is a decent price for a small but useful adapter like this, especially considering it saved me buying a new keyboard and mouse (I'm picky about what I use for different activities) which could have cost up to £150.
It conforms to the Plug And Play standard, which basically means you don't need to install or configure anything to work it, just plug it in to a USB port and plug some PS/2 devices into it and tada, IT WORKS!
Not only is it plug and play, but you can unplug and plug in devices at any time without restarting your computer - which is unusual for something to do with PS/2 and quite a nice feature.
It hasn't failed on me yet, nor have any wires ...
