AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ / 3 GHz processor is very reliable when we use graphic softwares like photoshop or when we play 3D games which are very resource gulping. Disadvantages: no

AMD has been on the decline after Intel introduced its core 2 Duo line of processors. It has been late on 65 nm process and they are paying for that. They had the market under total control just one year ago, but now they have lost even their loyal customers. AMD has to produce something very powerful and should be done quickly or they will even lose the small share that they has got. AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+ 2.6Ghz

Advantages: Fast, Quiet And Most Of All Cool
Disadvantages: None

A very fast processor that comes with AMD Cool N Quiet Drivers for your motherboard. I personally find the cpu temperature is around 29 Degrees Celcius at its hottest. The dual core capability makes u able to set affinity for programs, so if you wanted to do a virus scan, you could set it to CPU 0, and meanwhile set all programs you need to CPU 1, therefore no speed is lost. On the whole, as a computer builder, i have bought about 50 of these so far, and will continue to do so until a faster processor hits the shelves. The installation was very easy, as with usual, it was just a clamp to hold the cpu down, and then the heatsink/fan presses it into complete place, ensuring it doesn't move and has maximum stability. 9 out of 10 ...
