The Athlon X2 7850 also has HyperTransport 3.0, for up to 28.5 GB/s total processor to system bandwidth, and it supports DDR2 memory with a maximum speed of 1066MHz. In term of overclocking, this processor has the same character with all Phenom I processor. It was a hard work to overclock this processor. I set the vcore up to 1.4v and the maximum clock speed I got was 3.1GHz. Well I think this is not the best dual core from AMD. After overclocking this processor up to 3.1GHz, I try to use this processor to play some games such as Far Cry2, COD and of course my favorite game, Crysis. Overall this processor is able to run those games in a very acceptable speed. I found no noticeable lags during the game play (in medium setting of course). But if I change the setting into enthusiast, sometimes I found lags in some scenes. Overall this processor is worth enough considering its price, but I prefer using 45nm solution rather than the old 65 nm.
