Put simply - this is an extremely good-value product, and i would recommend it to everybody looking to build a pc.
Advantages: cheap compare to intels comparisons, runs at a nice stable temp Disadvantages: Can be power hungry
I bought one of these when they came out and boy was it a good move. This makes light work of anything else out on the market and especially if you want gaming performance. This proccesor runs like a dream. Yes AM3 is out son but there is not much difference between this am2+ and an AM3. Except the price. If you want an easy installation and a fast bugetable proccessor then this is your answer and solution. If you like intel then you wont want to ... ...situations. Be careful make sure your motherboard supports am2+ or you may e around 60£ out of pocket. If gaming and graphic design is what you are looking for this will happily run all you high demand applications and will hardly even break a sweat. This is soo easy to install if you are creating a new pc, but is really simple to upgrade. the user manual is friendly and provides all the infomation you will need. A GREAT ALL ROUND PERORMER ...

Advantages: Fast, easy to install, can stand the test of time seeing as though its quad core, Disadvantages: Does get hot, its a 140w processor, packaging could have been better.
...down seeing as though Amd Phenom 2 is out. Overall this is a fantastic processor for gamers. The quad core alone makes it a certified stable processor which could stand the test of time. However, i do reccomend that you buy a CPU cooler, even if your not overclocking. ...
