I have an AMD K7 600. I bought this because it runs much faster than intel processors and it is a lot cheaper. It is about time intel noticed that they cannot charge sky high prices for their "pentium chips". Software says on the back that it requires a pentium to run, but this is not so. 98 percent of all software that is made for a pentium will run on an AMD, the other two percent isnt worth buying anyway!
Amd run a lot faster and smoother and i would advise anybody that is buying a new pc to go AMD... and whats more AMD go up to 1Ghz unlinke intel!
