AMD Third-Generation Opteron 2347 HE / 1.9 GHz processor

Advantages: So many...stability, overclocks insanely & most bang for the buck.
Disadvantages: None except that Intel C2Ds now yields better performance.

...Currently the leading budget overclocking AMD dualcore processor, why? simply becourse the price/performance ratio is ridicolous, let me explain in detail in the best of my ability. (I´m assuming that the reader/s have some or even better knowledge about overclocking & the terms used in the semi-advanced school of computer knowledge, if youre a newbie thats fine too as I will try to write this review so that it´s understandable to some extent by everyone & reading is the key to learning, there are also plenty of guides on the net to satisfy your apetite ;) ) btw I´m no expert myself, merely a layman with a couple of self-built "puters" in my CV. Advantages: Dual Core, Low power usage* and Fast!
Disadvantages: Motherboards can be costly for this!

...but pentiums can be twice the price for the same spec AMD! In comparison to my old computer (old old p4 1.9Ghz with 1gb ram) this processor helps to wipe the floor with my old computer. The dual core feature means that in comparison i can listen to music, run an anti-virus scan, spyware and adware scan and play Hitman: Blood Money at the same time with very little noticeable shuddering or lag! Excellent. If my old computer attempted this bouts of freezing and poor gameplay would occur! The startup speeds of the computer are very noticeable as it takes around 40secs to boot in total (after everything has loaded up) whereas my old computer would literally take atleast 4 minutes to boot everything up - no joke! Advantages: Dual-core performance for true multi-tasking
Disadvantages: Price a little bit more, but makes sense.
