Advantages: Mobile, lightweight, versatile Disadvantages: Battery life varies, needs hacked video card drivers
...my SD card and is a handy feature. It has got all your regular ports on the back for a monitor etc etc as well as 4 USB 2.0 ports and an Ethernet and modem port (I think its a modem port, sorry if I'm wrong).
DVD RW
I have used this and it works well and I have had no flaws during writing yet (even on cheap tescos DVD RW's). It reads CD's and DVDs alike with good speed and very little if any data loss.

Processor
The TurionMT-321.8ghz is quite a capable processor for a laptop. I have played many games and run demanding programs on it, including half life 2, far cry, Photoshop, fireworks, flash mx professional, Cubase and others. It can however be overwhelmed at times but I have not had a single dreaded blue screen of death with this laptop nor can I complain with the speed and reliability it gives for the price. I...

Advantages: speed, perormance, no dodgy intel media graphics Disadvantages: none really
...The processor operates at 1.9 Ghz which is not the fastest processor in the world, the fastest in the family of processors is the Turion TL-66 at 2.3Ghz. This speed is definately not bad though, with many intel laptop processors coming in at around 1.6 Ghz to 2Ghz. Although it is not the fastest it is still reasonable, and it has to be said that being a laptop processor it can not be expected to reach the same speeds as desktop processors which I have known to reach 3.2Ghz.
For anyone out there who is not technologically minded like me, and who does not understand Ghz, Mhz etc, it is quite fast, that is the simple version.
PERFORMANCE
The performance of the processor is great and it really is good at being...

** The positive points of this laptop **
The look of this laptop is great, and it's very light for its size.
It has wireless capability, which can be enabled/disabled via a handy slider on the front of the machine.
Nice screen size, great for watching DVDs whilst away from home.
Decent Athlon 64mobileprocessor3.2
Ethernet port, 2 USB ports, Firewire port and TVOut are useful, as is the onboard sound and mic.
** And the negative **
I find the battery life a little diappointing for web surfing, it can only last 1.5hrs at times.
The 512mb RAM is shared with graphics on my machine which can be annoying at times, am unsure...
