Advantages: Very cheap, intelligent electronics keep wasted disks to a minimum Disadvantages: None so far. How long can something this cheap last?

Installation is a non-event really, especially if you?re replacing an existing drive. You disconnect the old one and remove it ? then you put the new one back. Heh presto! One new CD-RW machine installed.
If you?re starting from scratch, there are a couple of extra considerations. One is to make sure that you alter the little jumper plug to suit the drive?s status in life, i.e. is it the master or the slave on the IDE cable being used. If it?s alone, then make it the master. Also, you need to route an audio cable from the drive to your sound card, otherwise audio CDs won?t get heard. I?ve lost count of the number of times I?ve forgotten to do this, only to find three weeks later, that the lid needs to come off again just so that I can hear the one CD in a blue moon that I play on my PC. The latest craze in the computer world is miniture computer systems first introduced to us as the 'Shuttle' system. Since then many have taken a stab at this market and the EZ18 is AOpens answer to the call.
The EZ18 comes in two colours to my knowledge (pearl white, and slick black)so its possible to accessorise according to your personal preference. Unlike some of its counterparts (the shuttle system, BioStar system) the EZ18 is more of a cube rather than a single story tower and it comes with the bare essentials (partly why they have been called 'barebone' systems). It comes with the motherboard which holds the sound card aswell as the on board graphics(i think its nVidia n ...
Advantages: small lighweight Disadvantages: linux os
The Asus ePC is the perfect choice for students who want to use their computer at home, at school, at work or on the move. Smaller than a A5 pad and weighs less than 1kg! This is one the best laptops you can get designed for internet browsing on the move! I removed the original Linux operating system and installed Windows XP SP2. very usefull. handy for browsing the internet by just touching the screen! I had owned it for 2 months only. however it just want for me however my little sister loved it. finally ePC has upgraded to a 2GB DDR 2 memory so its really fast i think someone may be trying to compete with the acer one. for me the PC was just to flimsy ePC need to make to come with os xp as standard rather than Linux because most kids that have grown up around Microsoft don't want to have to get used to another os and as most ...
