Advantages: Low running costs, reliability and fun to ride Disadvantages: no centre stand
I traded my 2003 Yamaha FS600 for a 2004 BMW F650CS and have no regrets. Although signficantly less powerful than the Faser the Scarver is more fun to ride - I feel more in tune with the torquey single, and the engine braking is excellent. Handling is surprising good too - probably something to do with the low centre of gravity. My missus and son have both enjoyed the pillion experience.
The Scarver is cheap to run - low insurance, good fuel economy and reliable. The heated grips are good in winter and the headlights are very effective. The gear change is a bit agricultural but you get used to it. The seat is low so would be good for short legged people. Advantages: Will save your PC & Equitment during power problems Disadvantages: Not easy to connect
Good device , we get alot of fluctuations in power which might not be noticeable on TVs and Video/DVD other than a hiss.
On your PC the Desktop and equitment can freeze or crash.
The UPS has Three Battery terminals and 1 surge terminal.
Remmember You will need to change Power cables to Kettle leads both ways ( 3 point kettle male to female ), Two leads are suppliedwith APCUPS.
I connected Desktop , Monitor & WDSL Decorder.
Connect USB cable , other end to UPS rear , abit like a telephone plug.( cable supplied with APCUPS).
Connect modem cable if you use one
Load the PowerChute Person Edition software for XP.
The software should power down PC & Monitor when power problems occur.
Check power level indicator , this should tell you if you have overloaded the UPS.
Power level is Half way, Cool.
