APS Film offers more versatility over traditional 35mm film, with 3 different picture formats, coming usually in 25 or 40 exposure reels. Developing and processing, particularly in panoramic mode can be more expensive than 35mm film. Index prints are standard, and negatives remain in the cartridge. They are foolproof to load, and can often be changed mid-roll. If travelling abroad, then stock up as availability in remote locations is not that good. APS Disposable cameras are now available too, offering good results, perhaps worth trying before buying an APS camera.
