Advantages: Best Microsoft OS to date Disadvantages: lack of Restore function
...This is the best Microsoft OS since Windows 3.1 :--)
If you need to install the system from scrap on a blank HD, you need the 4 bootable floppy disks, which can be created on another computer using the CD utility for it.
Installation is pretty straightforward, formatting the disk for NTFS file system is pretty quick. Installation is quite speedy compared to Win98 or Windows Millenium Edition and requires less user intervention till almost the end.
If you have a network card in the computer it will identify it during the system installation process and you can specify PC and workgroup name during set up and choose if to add protocols during the Network Identification process. Advantages: Good interactivity Disadvantages: Lacks that "cutting-edge"
...Although the Lotus SS (SmartSuite) package is appealing to the less computerly educated user, to the normal user, the services Lotus offer in the SS package just can't keep up with MS Office. Also the word processing package also needs a lot of inprovement if it is going to keep up with MS Word. The only up this has on MS Offiec is that interactivity between applications is better than that of MS Office....

Advantages: Good product at affordable price Disadvantages: Hard to use advanced features
...I have built a couple of websites using this product and have found it both effective and easy to use.
You are getting a product that is just as good as the likes of Microsoft Frontpage but you are not paying the higher price.
The product follows the usual format for these types of things with mechanisms for graphically producing a page. The raw HTML is available in another view and can quite easily be edited if you want more control.
The editor comes bundled with a closely linked graphics editor that allows you to produce banners for your site . You can also create buttons that can be used in menus using Javascript rollovers. There are tutorials that explain all the features and, for example, will guide you through the process of creating a button.
The product also has support for more advanced features like PHP and MySQL, I have...
