A dual Purpose sponge
Advantages Very inexpensive, good value, great quality
Disadvantages None
Asda is a store we frequent quite a lot as it contains many things under one roof and it is very convenient for us as a family to use. Asda is part of the Wal-Mart store, which is the US equivalent. We purchase a lot of bath accessories and cleaning equipment from this store. We have two sponges which we sourced from Asda a little while ago and they came in a pack of two and cost in the region of only 65p. One sponge is white and the other is blue. It’s impossible to be able to actually feel the quality of these sponges before you have purchased them as the pack is sealed and there is no way in.
We have had a few packs of these sponges, as over time they do deteriorate, especially with two small children using them during playful times in the tub. They are not as soft as some sponges and not designed for children as such, but they are suitable for family use, I believe. They bounce right back into shape again when the water and suds have been squeezed out and retain their shape well. Over time, small pieces come apart from the outside of the sponges but we have re-used these old sponges for the children to play with for painting and making shapes during playtimes, so I guess you could say they have been good value for money as they have served a dual purpose.
The sponges help create a lot of suds in the bath and as they are not so soft, they are also good for cleaning particularly dirty hands and fingers in the bath or shower. The quality is good and the price is more than reasonable and I can happily recommend them.
