I purchased this motherboard as a replacement to an old one whilst doing a bit of upgrading.
I scowered the market, and this one seemed good value for money.
After ordering this item, it arrived the next day and was fitted within an hour.
I have had no problems with this motherboard so far, and i have had it for about 5 months now. I am not interested in overclocking at the moment, but i believe it can be done with this.
There was one hickup, but this was not down to the motherboard. I purchased a AM" processor, but it came without a fan. Review of ASRock AM2NF3-VSTA - motherboard - ATX - nForce3 250
This board does NOT run well in vista, mainly due to the lack of a proper vista driver for nForce3. Nvidia have released an audo driver, but that is all.
This board sufferes from problems with certain video cards and SATA drives under vista, as well as occasional problems with USB resources.
The Box the board comes in says it is Vista compatible, but in febuary 2007, nVidia decided to drop any form of Vista support for Nforce 2 & 3 chipsets.
Works well in XP but is a complete failure in Vista. ASRock will not provide a compatible replacement board or a refund. ...

This is more a warning than a review.
This MOBO is NOT VISTA capable when using a dual core processor and an ATI AGP graphics card - Google:- 'problems with AM2NF3-VST X1950' for details.
(Asrock have recently added a waiver to their website stating AM2NF3-VSTA won't work with VISTA, ATI graphics card and dual core processor)
Asrock do not intend to provide VISTA drivers for this VISTA certified MOBO.
It might well work with a unicore processor and VISTA but it is marketed as a dual core VISTA capable AGP motherboard !!!
Also the Product information states that it supports DDR 400 RAM - you must fit DDR2 RAM on this motherboard !!
Very Poor performance as a VISTA MOBO -
Excellent if you intend to use XP ...
