I used this mother board as a replacement in my Viewsonic desktop computer which of late was running extremely slow. Here are its configurations: Its an AS Rock Instant Boot, Instant Flash, smart BIOS intelligent energy saver motherboard. Compatible with all FSB1600*/1333/1066/800 MHz CPUs and is made from dual channel DDR2 memory technology. Max system memory is 8 GB and comes with a quick installation guide and support CD. I bought it from a trusted store in my vicinity after the technician there suggested this to me.

Installing the mother board in the cabinet was slightly easier because because its width was smaller than that of the original. Even the front panel plug pin too was exactly the same as my former. The Viewsonic computer I used this mother board in was one of the ones they used XP Media Center as an OS, the original board was built by Asus. Everything plugged in as if I had used the exact same board other than the firewire. I bought a $16 1 gig stick of RAM to go with the board as specified, installed Media Center using the key on the case and activated with no problem. So, spent $60 total and the computer is better and faster than it was when it was brand new. I am buying more since they are a perfect replacement and the price is cheaper than buying a used replacement. You don't have to be an expert to use this board as a replacement. Even the default jumper setting are set correctly for the P4 D processor.

Cons I have to save is that it Doesn't have a firewire header but that isn't a problem. I had to buy new RAM but then again that is no big deal. So all in all a good buy and I am happy with it.
