I,am Polen and I have this motherboard.And I think that motherboard is amazing beacuse this is socket 478 and she have as not numerous PCI-Express x16 Slot. I have Pentium 4(Prescott)HT 2,8GHz and graphic Card GeForce8600GTS DDR3 and simply my computer it,s shocking me,beacuse All Game's and Professional Program's are going with no problem on the max setups.I have got allways a very good setups of my Operations System,beacuse I like Supervise performance .To day I'have no problem with comp.Thank you AsRock comp. Advantages price
Disadvantages buggy VGA drivers; CPU fan socket is not PWM-enabled

good: price, if compared to other available mobos having the 478 socket (which seems to be outdated nowadays). not-so-good: ** had to buy a new VGA card, DirectX drivers for built-in VGA turned out to be buggy (computer halted on black screen). ** Had to buy another CPU heatsink as well, with it's own temperature controlled fan. The onboard CPU fan socket doesn't seem to take into account the PWM signal the very same mobo is able to generate to reduce the fan speed and noise according to CPU temperature. ** Installation of the slightly bigger heatsink was a bit tricky: the memory sockets are ... more
