The A6U Series, together with a built-in camera and microphone, provides a convenient tool for audio/video communications Video-conferencing and image recording are now easier than ever. This latest notebook also offers wireless connection right out of the box, linking you to the cyber world without knots and knots of wires. ASUS Audio DJ enables instant playback of your favorite CD without first entering OS. A control panel similar to that of a CD player features functions for play, pause, stop, fast forward, and rewind as well as volume control. The 16: 9 touchpad perfectly matches the 16: 9 widescreen. You no longer have to move your finger across the touchpad repeatedly to shift the cursor from one corner to another. A gapless design further eliminated the annoying dust accumulation around the touchpad rim.

...this asus laptop is a new range of laptops, as a well known fact they mad parts for the sony viao ange laptops so this means that their own range will be extremely reliable.
i found i liked this model alot because it was in mid range of all the laptops asus provide so it gave a perfect amount of everything to a laptop, this is including speed, memory.
i would like to say that this is a multimedia pc and gameplay and videos are excellent to watch on this,
there is only one draw back the asus W range they are alot faster without too much more cost.
the draw back that i found was when you overloaded the laptop with information it does slow down significantly, that does not happen with the W range of laptops.
if this is you budget then this is your laptop, but if you can spare more go for the W range....

Advantages: speedy when working/ net 15.4 screen notebook Disadvantages: repair services- sheer incompetence of department to correct fault
...I bought this notebook because Asus had a name in computer motherboard production and it sounded ideal for my student daughter who loved it at first use.
Fortunately it comes with a two year manufacturer guarantee because it has now been back to repair four times and is about to go away again for the fifth time with exactly the same fault it was repaired with a month ago.
The repair process is complicated by having to phone up asus and get an RMA number emailed to you with an excel form to complete giving details of purchase, serial number etc. then pick up has to be arranged by transport delivery services they use. Admittedly they are free whilst in guarantee but a lot of waiting around naturally to get it collected between the hours of 9 and 6 pm. Our laptop was delivered back with no telephone information as to when (in fact I had...
