Manufacturer's product description
Teamed with the next generation graphic, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300, the ASUS A6Vm series delivers a groundbreaking suite of innovations to the notebook platform, including exclusive support for Direct X 9.0 Shader Model 3.0 for unparalleled 3D and 2D visual effects. The 3D performance is increased by 41% than the previous graphic solutions. Users can enjoy the unprecedented picture clarity, smooth video, accurate color, and precise image scaling for all video content. It turns your PC into a high-end home-theater. Whether it's at home, hotel rooms, coffee shops or airports, as long as there is Internet connection, the A6Vm links users to the rest of the world via a built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam and microphone. Mobile video conferencing anytime is now possible without bulky webcams and tangling wires. To provide an interactive and exciting PC gaming experience, the A6Vm series incorporated GameFace Live. It is the world's first multi-player, video/audio communication solution for DirectX PC gaming. It enables simultaneous connection of up to eight players, allowing gamers to talk to and see their teammates or the enemies during PC gaming. Players can now taunt opponents, strategize with teammates, stare down the enemy and share a few laughs. Online gaming has never been this much fun. The A6Vm series leveraged the advanced Intel Pentium M processor and NVidia graphics core to deliver powerful processing and high-speed graphics. Run complex multimedia applications and play 3D games on the A6Vm series without a glitch. ASUS Audio DJ enables instant playback of your favorite CD without first entering OS. A control panel similar to that of a CD player features functions for play, pause, stop, fast forward, and rewind as well as volume control. Responding to the emerging demands of notebook users who have a number of simultaneously working Bluetooth peripherals on their system, including mice, keyboards, headsets, and mobile phones, the A6Vm notebooks, with the built-in Bluetooth V2.0+EDR, offer maximum data transfer rates of 2.1 Mbps, 3 times faster than the current device can manage, and hence reducing power consumption, which greatly benefits battery-dependent mobile devices. The 16: 9 touchpad perfectly matches the 16: 9 wide screen. Users no longer have to move their fingers across the touch pad repeatedly to shift the cursor from one corner to another. A gapless design further eliminated the annoying dust accumulation around the rim.

Advantages: small light and reliable Disadvantages: cost of badge
...this asus laptop is a new range of laptops, as a well known fact they mad parts for the sony viao ange laptops so this means that their own range will be extremely reliable.
i found i liked this model alot because it was in mid range of all the laptops asus provide so it gave a perfect amount of everything to a laptop, this is including speed, memory.
i would like to say that this is a multimedia pc and gameplay and videos are excellent to watch on this,
there is only one draw back the asus W range they are alot faster without too much more cost.
the draw back that i found was when you overloaded the laptop with information it does slow down significantly, that does not happen with the W range of laptops.
if this is you budget then this is your laptop, but if you can spare more go for the W range....
