I have waited for the new a7jc core 2 duo 7200 and i was not desapointed.... its a work station, game machine, multimedia center all in one.
The notebook goes like a pocket ... ...to the conjugation of its processor and its extremely fast ddr2 633Mhz memory, strangely this new more powerfull version of a7jc does not over heat as mutch as the previous first gen dual core.... expecialy in the area near the point of rotation of the lcd screen. sow it apears to have been some internal modification to the cooling system.

well enough about work ... this machine also makes very impressive game performance, whith its ati x1600 512 mb video card it rocks in games as gtr2, tomb rider legen in top spec defenition and many others. in sintax ...its just amasing value for money

...time with this laptop or ASUS again. When the laptop was actually functioning it seemed to be okay. The product is shipped with Windows XP media edition which allows the use of a included TV remote control. The screen size is big enough to make it a decent TV/DVD player. I found that the TV was a little too soft sometimes even on the maximum computer volume so i bought some peripheral speakers which solved the problem.
I was able to play a few games ... ...high graphic settings with no lag which is nice for a laptop. However the breakdown factor has really jaded me to ASUS. Even if it the features are unbelievable having it in a service centre for a full month of the total six months I have owned it is unacceptable. I don't know if my particular computer is just a lemon or if it is all of the A7Jc computers. ...
