Advantages: Fun laptop powers up and off quickly Disadvantages: Poor battery life
...A great laptop for using on the go, powers on and off very quickly, lots of cool features you don't get on a normal laptop like periodic table and games such as frozen bubble, penguin racer and go karting all built in. However the battery life is very poor, advertised as up to nine hours on the asus website but in reality this can only be achieved when all functions of use - bluetooth, wireless internet connection, graphics etc are switched off. All in all an excellent and fun piece of equipment but definitely more suitable for people looking for something to use for fun and basic internet use rather than for work purposes, great for kids in particular as basic office applications work fine and are compatible with Microsoft office if needed to view on other computers. Also has easy links to google documents and built in email and webcam...

...asus eee pc 901 is a 8.9 inch mini laptop with a 1.6 ghz intel atom n270 processor, 1 gb ram, 12 gb solid state drive 20 gb eee storage xp home 6 cell battery, it has a very good looking every body can see that from the picture above it's clean and attractive no wonderful it has become one of the bestselling netbook on amazon and shopping . at first glance there little to separate the latest 901 version of the asus mini laptop from the 900 model that was released less than two months ago so now the casework is subtly restyled giving gentler rounded corners and the finish is glossier where the previsus model was satin but the important difference lies in asus choice of processir out goes the 900mhz celeron and in comes 1.6ghz of brand new intel atom lifting the lid we have the same 8.9in screen a useful step up from the 7in...

....
The 8.9" 1024x600 LCD is a HUGE improvement over the 7" 800x480 screen of the Eee PC 701 - so much so that I would have difficulty using a 7" display going forward. I wish Asus would do what HP did, and use a 1280x800 screen
Pros:
Nice design and build quality, solid performance, improved track pad and mouse buttons, 802.11n wireless, online storage option, multi-touch pad.
Cons:
Small keyboard, included storage should be larger
