Advantages: Small and Portable, Cheap Disadvantages: Small HD, No CD drive
Well I just love this laptop. It is everything I want in a laptop. It does have a few minor flaws but the pros totally outweigh them.
Appearance
This laptop is a great looking laptop. Only the size of an A5 notepad, it is small and yet it still manages to look smart yet fun. I chose the baby blue cover for my asus eee but any colour looks just as good. Inside, the layout is neat and tidy with reasonable sized keys for this small laptop. The sides of the laptop look clean in simple as is to be expected with a small laptop like this. Without a CD drive, it allows more room for the 3 USB ports and SD slot allowing the back of the laptop to be left clear bar the power port. Overall, a great looking laptop.
Function
With such a small hard drive of only 4gb and a small amount of memory of 512mb, this laptop surprised ...

Advantages: good design and cool looking Disadvantages: not now
I have used a lot of laptops,but I am so surprised by the functionality of this laptop.I love it,for it has brillant size,design,battery life,and many features of this cool laptop.
At first ,I think I should upgrade this laptop to the max 2GB of RAM,because I usually play the PC games which needs large RAM,but it runs so smoothly now,so I do not know if I should make an upgrade.
I am a fans of laptop,I mainly use it for surfing the net,writing some reviews,and watching movies .If all software is run on the laptop,the speed is slow down,but it is normal.In my opinion,the speed of this laptop is excellent, at least it wont has the case of crashing down.
I'm a big fan of the large hard drive,sometimes ,I am carzy about the upgrade of hard drive,though the price is higher than we thought.
It is good for stage managers who need email ...

This review looks at one of many netbooks to be released in the UK over the past few months, ASUS's EEE PC 701 SD. The model I have is fitted with Windows XP and has an 8Gb hard drive. I bought it on special offer for £155.
Appearance
The 701SD is absolutely tiny. It weighs around a kilogram and is roughly the same size as a hardback reading book when in the closed position. It comes in a neat box along with instructions,a mains charger, a protective case and a system CD. It has a 7 inch screen which is absolutely tiny but is still perfectly functional. The unit has three USB sockets, headphone and microphone jacks, and SD memory card slot, a small webcam above the screen and a microphone positioned just underneath the keyboard. It has a small touchpad which is small but works in exactly yhte same way as a normal sized laptop ...
