working on private documents in public places. A VikuitiTM privacy filter is a complex piece of plastic based on microlouver technology from 3M. The finest black, non-reflecting louvers are positioned to 1-degree precision, with over a dozen louvers per millimetre, and then evenly distributed over the dimensions of a screen.Outfitting a laptop for mobile display security takes only a few minutes and is possible for almost all types of screens. The filter is fastened to the laptop with small mounting clips, can remain on the laptop during transport and can be removed or reinstalled at any time. This Asus is a great buy. I picked mine up for about £200 quid, which is incredibly cheap forw hat it is.. It has a great spec which i will detail below, its very small and light and very durable. I carry mine in my bag every day to uni on the train and it's still in perfect condition.
----------------Storage-------------- It comes a variable amount of hard drive space depending on which exact model you buy. I have the 904HD which ... ...a little better, but the ASUS is average it it's own right.
It has a nice touch with its touchpad, as it has tried to copy some of the MAC features by being able to rotate pictures, bring up my computer, scroll down all by differnet types of stroke of the touichpad with differnet combonations of fingers and directions, which is a neat little move and can somtimes becomee very helpful.

----------------Storage-------------- It comes a variable amount of hard drive space depending on which exact model you buy. I have the 904HD which as a 80Gb hard drive. This is ample for what you will need it for, as you can satore 1000s os Mp3 style songs, pictures or videos witha hard drive that large.
--------------Speed------------------ The 904HD also has 1Gb of RAM. (if you are not sure what RAM is, basically in very simple terms it's temporary memory, that the more your computer has the faster it will run). Again 1Gb is ample for a netbook this small. I have found that everything i want to do on this netbook can be done quick without having towait forever for results.
It is a nippy little computer, possilby is a little slow on strreaming larger videos online, but other than that it opens files and runs programs quickly and efficiently. Also it only takes about 30 secondsa to 1 minute to start up from switched off, and only about 20 seconds from standby.
-----------Design-------------- Now for the design. It's a smart little thing, coming in a range of colours, white black etc. All very stylish and neat. The keayboard is just about the right size, compared to the ACER ONE, which a friend of mine has and is a little fiddly. The screen is 8.9 inches and is just about right. I have to say the ACER ONE does have a nicer resolution screen which makes it look a little better, but the ASUS is average it it's own right.

----------Power------------- Battery life is also good on the ASUS, it beats most of its competitors of the same value as it lasts for about 5 hours at a maximum. Usually about 4 with wireless on and being constantly used.
It does come with an external power supply which is very light and easy to carry around with, and will charge up the ASUS in a few hours.
The only downfalls to the Asus are the fact that it doesn't have a CD drive, but you can't expect that in such a small device, and the processor is slightly slower than some of the other netbooks in its quality range AS IT IS ONLY 900MHz, whereas some other range to about 1.6 GHz.
But if you need a netbook thats simply for browsing the web, writing up documents on simple office programs, or watching and listening to media, then is the perfect netbook for you!! Out of all the netbookss i've seen i would defffonately say this one was superior for a cheap value netbook. Obviously there are better ones out there, but at a much larger cost!!
