I originally purchased the Asus 1101HA netbook as a back up to the existing laptop I was using. Well, since then, it has become my 'go-to' computer for most day to day tasks. It's small enough to chuck into a small bag, but has a good amount of screen real estate; verging more on a "proper" laptop than some of the smaller netbook offerings available. Battery life is dependent on a number of factors; screen brightness, processor power management, number of programs running, etc., but has averaged out at around 6 hours from a fresh charge.
