Disadvantages: asus wbsite very slow when wanting to dl updates

if you are looking to upgrade your pc for gaming on a tight budget this is the best place to start for £70 you deffinatley get your moneys worth with all the features included i bought mine when they was first released it was buggy but once the bios was updated all was fine this board is the heart of one of my kick ass machines and that is exactly what it will do This Motherboard is certified for SLI use my only bad point asus website very slow when wanting to download updates why pay £150 for a striker extreme when this is half that p.s my freind has the striker and i dont feel a diference at all apart from the striker boots up slower too much junk in its bios the p5n is stripped to the core for performance all unneeded removed it is easy to install and set up with good istructions to do so and will even fit ...

Review of ASUS P5N-E SLI - motherboard - ATX - nForce 650i SLI

A great ASUS motherboard

Advantages: Lots of ports/features, price.
Disadvantages: Slow to pass bois post

I brought this from ebuyer a few months back, for my new system build. I wanted a motherboard which had plenty of features/ports etc, without braking the bank, and this does just that. With 4 USB port, 7.1 surround sound audio card, 4 rear USB ports + 2 headers, Printer Port, and even 2 PCI-E 16X for SLi and 2 PCI-E and 2 PCI card slots, which is a good use of the slots available, with the PCI-E sure to be used more in the future, with it's smaller and faster slot. So, after unpacking, I found there to be a lot of accessories with this board, keeping up to ASUS's standards. I applied the headers to the case and installed the motherboard easy enough, connected everything up etc. and it was up and running. After setting itself up, I was able to install the operating system. The board had no problem installing the Sata hard drive and disc ...

The extra ordinary Asus Striker Extreme

Advantages: overclocking, very easy to install etc...
Disadvantages: only garantees QVL memory

the Asus Striker Extreme the best motherboard for gamers with the technology SLI, the best motherboard I ever had, its a bit pricy but is worth every penny that you spend on that motherboard. Excelent on overclocking, very good features, supports all intel processors from pentium 4 to core 2 quad, even my internet connection is faster now with this motherboard, the only problem that I have with it is the memory because it requires QVL memory and my one isn't. Very easy instalation mainly with the q-connector, its real good, I highly recommend people to buy this motherboard. a few number of features to help people know what this motherboard have. back panel: 2 x 10/100/1000 (LAN) 1 x 7.1 Audio I/O 2 x eSATA II 1 x Firewire (6pin) 1 x LCD Poster 1 x PS/2 Keyboard 1 x PS/2 Mouse 1 x SPDIF-Out 4 x USB 2.0/1.1 internal: 1 x ...
