if you are looking to upgrade your pc for gaming on a tight budget this is the best place to start for £70 you deffinatley get your moneys worth with all the features included i bought mine when they was first released it was buggy but once the bios was updated all was fine
this board is the heart of one of my kick ass machines and that is exactly what it will do
This Motherboard is certified for SLI use
my only bad point asus website very slow when wanting to download updates
why pay £150 for a striker extreme when this is half that p.s my freind has the striker and i dont feel a diference at all apart from the striker boots up slower too much junk in its bios
the p5n is stripped to the core for performance all unneeded removed
it is easy to install and set up with good istructions to do so
good packaging all nesesary cables included inc floppy sata and ide cables
the bios
here you can do all the tweeking easy to navigate around the bios
my favourite features here is the easy overclock menu where select 5 10 15 or 20% overclock it does it all for you cpu memory i when i did mine i could only get stable 15% my dual core cpu went from 3.4 to 4.2 ghz 8 mths ago not bad at 20% theroreticly the cpu should be at 4.8 ghz my memory went from 800mhz to 950 mhz
This motherboard supports the latest Intel® Quad-core processors in LGA775 package. It's excellent for multi-tasking, multi-media and enthusiastic gamers with 1066/800 MHz FSB
al this and it is sli ready to (fit 2 gfx cards and use as 1 big monster)
for 70 i would recomend all day long even if you just wand a normal family pc because it is always upgradable more than a basic cheap asus board as asus spend more money on it and it looks alot better especialy if you have a side window on your case
