Advantages: Cooling, Upgrades, BIOS updates, Stability Disadvantages: ASUS website is cumbersome at times
I have now owned this motherboard for over a year. I have upgraded the CPU from a dual core to a quad core pentium, I have doubled the ram from 2 to 4Gb, I am currently running 4 SATA HDD's 2 in a RAID0 configuration and I am about to upgrade the graphics card to a dual crossfire X1900.
All in all this PC runs everything I have ever thrown at it and has never failed me. It has been a joy to setup, easy to configure and simple to run and update.
Don't listen to people who complain about unstable bios. The bios on my PC has been faultless.
I am seriously considering getting another of these and building a second PC with the bits from my first, then upgrading my main PC again.
All in all, the perfect motherboard for gamers and graphic designers alike.

This motherboardI would recommend for gamers and professionalsmainly due to the features and control for the hardware within your computer. I feel it was designed for gamers in mind as 90% of the features are aimed at the games and performance of the items connected this board.

Advantages: none Disadvantages: very unreliable BIOS
This is the worst motherboardI have ever used. It is very unreliable. Every so often, the BIOS gets in a mess and the PC won't start up, requiring a reset of the BIOS settings. This entails removing the battery from the motherboard which unhelpfully is sited under the graphics card, so you have to remove that too.
Worse, as of today, the BIOS is steadfastly refusing to start at all, despite all my attempts to persuade it to. So now it is a completely useless motherboard. Since my disk is a raid 0, I'm not sure how I can recover my data - my last backup was a couple of weeks ago, and I've done a lot of important work since then.
All in all, I would strongly recommend you don't buy this motherboard. For the money, it's a big mistake. ...
