The manual supplied comes with lots of information about the ins and outs of the BIOS features and on the the support disc offers an array of programs which helped me to name the two most important ones are:- 1.AI Gear allowed me to quickly change the CPU frequencies with a few clicks in the operating system and overclock it to my current computer working load 2.ASUS probe 2 allows me to check the motherboard and CPU temperatures and fan speeds to make sure that things are working properly. A customizable threshold can be set to set an alarm off to detect any problems. I found this is essential when booting up for the first time or when overclocking. Disadvantages: no sli/crossfire, expensive, only 1 IDE port

...This board is an excelent partner for a Core2Duo processor. Everything worked straight out of the box and it didnt even blink when i accidentally overclocked the cpu from 2.16 to 3.2Ghz. it has not crashed once on me yet even with my constant tinkering and just seems to get faster as asus are regularly releasing new bios updates(which are very easy to use). onboard wifi is fine, comes with a small aerial that gets a good signal from my router. also packaged is an excelent directional microphone thats great for voice communications apps. asus support is aledgedly excelent, altho i'v found their website to be a little slow here in the uk. asus also claim that this board will support the upcoming core2quadro, 4-core intel cpus.... Disadvantages: no fan on northbridge

...This motherboard is great i have had it for 3 months now and i find it 3 times as good as the kt400 chipset, dual channel memory, 400fsb, 8x agp, sata brackets, very quick, user freindly software on cd, asus update to update your bios direct from there website and to top it off you gat a 3 year warranty, although you dont get a fan on the northbridge you probably dont need one, the colour is a bit bland but its still a great motherboard, for the price you pay you expect good performance and you get just that with this motherboard, i have an amd 2800 pluged in to this beauty and it runs like a dream. the asus wifi slot lets you buy an adaptor for the mainboard with this you can set up your house for wireless lan, it runs at 11mps and it fast enough for general use. 10/10...
