Full review
I recently acquired a reasonably new pentium II 350, within the computer laid an ATI graphics card. Being a fan of games i was delighted to see that the card was named ATI 3D Rage Pro. Having previously owned a DX4-100 I was finally able to play all the games such as quake 2 in modes other than "Dying Snail Mode". After installing a few i noticed that none of them seemed to have particularly good 3D graphics. After trwaling the web for hours searching for some kind of glide or opengl driver for the unaptly named 3D Rage Pro it dawned on me that perhaps it wasnt a proper 3D card. It is things like this that get the non experienced computer users buying goods, a cheap enough card claiming it is 3D appears to be a good buy for a beginner, but a more experienced user will soon find that it is not all its cracked up to be.
Come on guys, sort it out...
