This notebook pc had everything I wanted for a work pc. Small, light, reasonable size hard disk and good performance. Built in WiFi and USB ports stay powered when charging. Processing power is adequate and the HD is small by contemporary standards. Ditto for the memory. Don't try and run Vista on this. The keyboard does not flex and there is reasonable travel. Thumbs tend to catch the mouse pad and cause spurious "enters." Case feels solid enough. and there is a proper volume control on the front of the unit. It is a nice package but unfortunately there is an inherent design fault with the LCD screenbacklight inverter. It appears that the inverter connections become resistive over time and as a consequence the inverter packs in and the backlight fails. This is intermittent at first but then becomes permanent. I shelled out £100 shipping to get it fixed (out of warranty) but it soon went again. I now have an Acer. This has been totally reliable!
