...Locke school of motoring is a good school of motoring i paid for 12 hours of driving lessons that cost me around £100-£150 it took me a while to take these lessons because i let my 1st theory test run over the 2 years and i had to take another 1 and i passed it after the 4th time. The driving instructor i had he was great because im short he made me sit on a cushion so i was higher up and i could see a bit better and i told him what i was failing on in my other tests and with his help i got through. The prices at the time last year were about £16 for an hour and about £32 for 2 hours. With Locke i found that the prices were reasonable but are expensive because you could probably get them for cheaper. ...I wanted driving lessons for my 17th birthday so i could gain more independance however i did NOT want to drive in a mini, any other car was fine, just not a mini. So what does my mum do? Books my lessons with Bramhall school of motoring - purely minis. At first i was sceptical, i thought of the old style minis and thought they would be cramped and just not very nice to drive. I was hugely mistaken. The mini's are lovely, really comfortable and plenty of space. My instuctor is really patient with me and very encouraging. I was allowed to drive on my first lesson after being taught the basics so was impressed with that. So far i have only had 3 lessons so i can't comment on whether i pass first time or not , however i have booked my theory - only 3 weeks after first learning to drive a car! ...John is a fantastic, patient, very friendly instructor who made learning to drive a very enjoyable experience. His professionalism immediately put me at ease and he instils confidence from the moment you step into the car. His guidance, influence and well instructed lessons are the key factors in which not only I, but many others, have passed their driving tests. He is firm when he has to and to the point. He hits all your needs in a very simple and professional way and will do his best to ensure you are a competent driver. I would most definitely recommend anyone with an aspiration to become a confident and safe driver or to just brush up on your skills to book with JNR School of Motoring.
