    Advantages Advantages increadibly readable, fascinating with a good story line and characters.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not as strong as some of Whites other work.

    A truly revealing and heartwarming story. This book is autobiographical although this is thinly disguised by White. You follow 'White' as a youngster growing up in America, his sexual adventures, the men and women he meets during his younger years and his relationship with his family, especially his father. Some of the scenes described can be quite explicit in nature so it won't be suitable for all readers, having said that, the explicitness only adds to the story and does not distract, allowing you to build a closer relationship with the main character.
