Advantages: All about David Jason life and career
Disadvantages: you cant put the book down

...I have this book on David Jason and it has about 12 chapters ranging from his birth to his career and all the stuff in between. I was never into reading biographys but there were 2 great actors i wanted to read about and 1 of them was David Jason. I've watched him in a touch of frost and in only fools and horses and wanted to know more about his life so i bought this book of his biography. It is a great read and i would reccommend people to read it because it is very interesting. The book has a few photographs in the middle pages the book tells you all about how david started out and how he got the big roles of playing Delboy (Derek) Trotter and Jack Frost in A Touch of Frost. Reading this biography of David Jason shows how the actor spent his life and about what his life was growing up as a boy into man and what he was like as a boy... Read review

Winter Frost
Review of Winter Frost - R.D. Wingfield by LICARUS

Advantages: see text
Disadvantages: see text

...Every one I am sure had either heard of, or seen Inspector Jack Frost in action. The scruffy detective brought alive on our screens by the wonderful David Jason. I have recently found the books that the series ‘A Touch of Frost’ are based on and believe me they are everything the series is and much much more. In ‘Winter Frost’ our hero Jack Frost has to investigate a number of crimes in Denton. A serial killer is on the loose, murdering the local prostitutes, a man unearths an ancient skeleton in his garden, a ram raid at a jewellers and various burglaries. Will Jack Frost be able to solve them all without getting himself fired? In the books the character of the insubordinate Jack Frost comes through brilliantly, we even learn things about his past that are not revealed in the series. Amid the seriousness... Read review
