Advantages: Some really good bits of plot and some excellent characters Disadvantages: The main character is getting more tedious with every page.
...admit now that I have a serious problem with this series - I cannot abide the main character, Rand, the Dragon reborn. Believe me, I've tried. I put up with his griping pathetic phase in the hopes he would get himself moving. I put up with his obviousness - young man ripped from rural home to fulfil vitally important destiny. The trouble is, Rand is dull, unlikable and depressing. If you haven't encountered him yet and have no idea what I am talking ... ...Rand is a ald from a small village, who, many books ago, was whisked away by a mysterious Aes Sedi (magic using female) because he may well have DESTINY. Advantages: Excellent story, non stop suprises. Disadvantages: Need to make time to read 850 pages.
...the others, there is always a glossary at the back of the book. The plot of this very book is, Elayne, Nyneave, Aviendha and Mat are still searching for a ter'angreal, which they call the Bowl of the Winds. In the book, they get closer and closer in succeeding. Weaving the power with the ter'angreal, may gain control of the weather that has been blistering, which was caused by the Great Lord of the Dark himself.
Egwene, now Amyrlin Seat, finds Moghedien ... ...who and channel the power. This includes the Sea Folk, Windfinders, Wise Ones and others you will found out in the book. The main character, Rand, the Dragon Reborn, is faced with Sammael, one of the Forsaken. Sorry but you will need to read the book to know if Rand is stronger than Sammael. There is one catch, they battle in Shandar Logoth and Mashadar is there.
Hope this review helps.
Thank you for reading.

The story revolves around ...
