Advantages: Very fast write speed, Low energy consuption. Inexpensive. Disadvantages: Small capacity relative to new camera capabilities
...I bought this card along with my Olympus e-500 camera as it was recommended by the seller from whom I bought it. The recommendation was quite good as the card was relatively inexpensive and is very quick writing to the card, there is little if any storage lag. Energy consumption is low relative to other cards on the market, particularly cards by cheaper manufacturers such as Kingston. This card supports all types of data however to access this functionality a USB connector is required. This particular model of the card is quickly becoming obsolete because of the relatively small amount of datait can hold. Sandisk has similar cards on the market now that can store up to 16 times the amount this card can. However, the card is cheap and is still a very reliable and fast card for use perhaps as a backup or overflow card....

Advantages: Performance and speed Disadvantages: Higher cost than lower level models
...Having bought this card to be used in Canon EOS 20D & 40D digital cameras they are extremely rapid and much better than the lower speed Sandisk CompactFlashes or other makes. The cameras have not as yet had to stop shooting to allow the card to catch up to write data during picture taking even in rapid fire sports mode. Have had no failure with data capture and have been used in extreme temperatures, holiday in Australia (39C) and a family wedding in Austria (-10C). The cards didn't seem to lose any performance in the big changes in temperature which can occur with lesser models. I would thoroughly reccomend these cards to anyone prepared to spend that little bit extra the performance justifies the cost. Look out for sale offers on them to make them really good value for money....

Advantages: Fast write speed, Reliable (estimated to last over 100 years) Disadvantages: none
...memory cards will function on all Operating systems, including the more popular Microsoft and Apple systems. If you have a different operating system to Microsoft or Apple, then there is no need to worry as it will function on virtually all OS (Operating systems) released shortly before and after the release of CompactFlash Cards.
The X-speed on this Compactflash card as well as on all Kingston flash cards determines the writing speed of the card. The writing speed is simply the time taken for a file or files to be copied onto the memory card. The write speed determines the overall performance of the compactflash card. So the higher the write or X-speed the better the performance of the memory card. The X-speed for the Kingston HI Speed Elite PRO CompactFlash 4096 MB card is 133x. One x-speed is equivalent to 150 kb's of data transfer...
