...Longfords have been trading for just under 4 years, within that time they have proven themselves to be a reliable company which offer an excellent standard of work. They do private landscape work through a local Landscape Arcitect, where by, they receive the plan, and specificatons, and price the job. They also do sub-contract work for Taywood Homes, Harvesters, and Vintage Inns, nationwide through contacts they have made from reliability and proven good standard of work. Longfords also supply turf for the South West of England and Wales. On the whole, Longfords can be recommended for landscaping work, hard and soft, private and commercial.... Read review

...As in all trades, there are good and bad landscapers. And as in most trades, there is a trade organisation which should give you confidence if you choose a member. The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) puts its potential members through a thorough vetting procedure, and then a probationary period, before they are accepted into full membership. In the meantime, references have been obtained from clients, and the standards of workmanship checked by random visits to projects. ...Moving into a new house recently, I needed some help with the construction site ground surrounding my property. After a number of quotes and proposals I went for Telfords. A local company with a national list of satisfied customers. For my 'job' the designer spent time listening to my requirements and translating them into a working plan. The work started and finished on time, the workers were professional leaving a tidy site at the end of each day. An increase in the cost of plants pushed the overall price up slightly but I was advised of this prior to anything being planted. A good job done on time.... Read review
