I first read this book when i was 7 years old and i fell in love. This novel is about Sarah Crewe, a young girl who spent her life with her father, who loved her dearly. They both lived in Africa, but her father had to work so she needed to go to a boarding school in london. She made lots of friends who were fascinated by her stories but she was interested in the servant girl. A few other girls, however, did not appreciate her amazing stories about Africa. Soon she gets a letter from her father explaining he is involved in a diamond mine, and so for her birthday she is allowed anything she wants. However, on her birthday, she finds out her dad is dead and his partner who was involved in the diamond mines has gone off with all the money. So Sarah is forced to work as aslave, with very little food. little does she know that the partner is looking for her, and he is a little closer than she thinks. Read this book and follow Sarah's ups and downs and find out her secrets hopes and dreams. She is most certainly a little princess. But will she ever find her dads partner? Read and find out!
