It is a lovely book about a little girl who is kind and loves. The little girl is Sara Crewe and lives in India with her father who is in the army and one day he has to go to war and Sara has to go to a Miss Minchkins boarding school for priveleged girls in England and she likes to believe she is a princess and tells the other girls at the boarding school she goes to that they are too. Sara's dad is presumed dead in the war and Sara has to become a cleaner in the school with the other girl and Sara makes up stories for tje other girls in her room in the attic.
This is a lovely book to read and i would read it again and recommend it to others to read the book. The characters in the book are great the way the book is written is excellent if you get the chance to read the book then do.
