Manufacturer's product description
We last left Rumpole in his hospital bed after his sudden collapse in court. Now our hero finds himself in the Primrose Path nursing home - or a hospice as he persists in describing it. Things aren't looking good for Rumpole - until suddenly he begins to sense there's something wrong with the place, and all his intelligence and formidable insight into human behaviour come to the fore again. And once he has solved the mystery of the Primrose Path nursing home, Rumpole finds the briefs fly thick and fast again. This collection of six brand-new Rumpole stories shows the legendary advocate on top form.
Advantages: Different than anything I've read before Disadvantages: rambles in places
...First Of all I suggest this product as a book not and audiobook
The Blurb
On a stormy night in 1813, a doctor is called to the aid of two prostitutes in childbirth. To one is born a healthy girl, Henriette, to the other, what can only be described as a monster: a boy , Hercule, deaf-mute and hideously deformed, but with the power to read minds.
As he tells the story of Hercule's bizarre and colourful life, which leads him from the bordello of his birth to a travelling freak show and then a jesuit monastery and an asylum, Vallgren paints a magical picture of nineteenth century Europe. The Author

Advantages: Good advice, clear plain english, accessible to all Disadvantages: none

And so it was Head 2 that I was wearing the day I picked up 'How to retire 10 years early'. I have to fly a fair bit for my job, not for much longer though, my pregnant stomach is becoming more and more noticeable and then my evil boss will no longer be able to send me away…ha-ha!!! Anyway I was at City airport in London, home of the apprentice reject, the blackberry addict and the if I talk loudly enough into my blue tooth someone will surely realise my importance deluded fools.
Wandering amongst the bags and designer nit wits...

Advantages: Use of repetition, well illustrated, strong family feel. Disadvantages: Not a particularly strong moral.
...three-year-old to become easily hooked in the early, less descriptive pages and she is aware of Mr Bear's annoyance as he begins to hear more and more noises.
As a reading experience "Peace at Last" is a well-structured short read that my child loves because we get to make a variety of noises throughout. This a book that a child can become involved in and relies heavily on the enthusiasm of the reader. A reader who throws themselves into the aeroplane noise "NYAAOW" and the "HMMMMMM" of the refrigerator will be rewarded by a child laughing throughout and joining in. Read in a monotonous fashion this book will provide no enjoyment at all.
The illustrations are very gentle in their rendering leaving no doubt that this is your average bear family. The roughly drawn pastel colours give this book a very "homely" feel allowing my child...
