I read this book with my niece, It was very gripping it kept my niece very interested. Each time I babysat for her we read some more both of us got great enjoyment out of this book. I have now given her this book to take home so she can experience reading it by herself, I would recommend buying this book if you have children. Although it is nothing compared to the Harry Potter books it a very well written and appealing novel. This book is full of mystery althought my niece is only nine she still really enjoyed this book, so even if your children are not quite twelve yet i would still reccommend them reading this. very good book
