Advantages: Up to date news, well informed writers Disadvantages: Heavy F1 bias
...WHAT IS IT?
Autosport is a magazine covering all aspects of motor racing and rallying, published 51 times a year by Haymarket Specialist Magazines Ltd. It has been around since the early 1950s and comes out every Thursday, except over the Christmas period when there is a double issue on the last Thursday before Christmas, hence 51 issues a year. There are a number of free supplements throughout the year including previews of the Le Mans 24-hour race, British Grand Prix and Rally GB.
In addition, the first issue each year includes a pocket sized A-Z directory with over 5000 entries giving contact details for teams, circuits, clubs, manufacturers and suppliers World-wide, and some diary stickers for major international and UK national events (I tried these on my Palm but found I couldn't see the screen afterwards!). Advantages: Keeps bonnets secure. Disadvantages: Not the most attraxctive items in my opinion.
...Race X rubber hooks.
These items are designed for use on racing cars,
to stop the bonnet flying open during agressive manoeuvering.
They are marketed as a "bonnet pin kit".
These type of fittings are also useful on other situations,
where the use of a flexible quick release fixing is required.
They have been used on trucks and buses for many many years.
These ones are very good, and are made by the Race X company.
Race X do a catalogue, which is very good, you will find over 300 styling items on sale, including stunning red or vivid blue aluminium pedal pads, Titanium look gear knobs with rather sporty leather gaiters and the like. There are also practical items, e.g. locking wheel nuts wiper blades etc.
They also sell a large array of other trinkets, tax disc holders "go faster stripes" and rubber mats,
Plus...

Advantages: vtec-i Variable Engine, 6 speed box, Great Drive Disadvantages: Cost a few quid to insure, drinks heavily if your Right foot's not careful
...When you first see the Civic Type R you may wonder what the fuss about. Well the New Civic Type R is wonderfully shaped and crafted but a lot of the real interest lies under the gracefully shaped body. What lies beneath is a 2.0ltr i-vtec-i engine pumping out 200 bhp, which actually changes 'profile' as you drive, mounted on a brand new racing chassis with a six speed sport racing gearbox and a ride, a little stiff for some, that I believe is nigh on impossible to match for the cash.
Lets start with that nice sounding engine, you can read the technical jargon from Honda but as a driver, it changes profiles seamlessly going from meek town trawler pulling 1200 rpm to full blown racetrack monster pulling 8000 rpm in a split second and all without a turbo. The response is incredible as is the rate of acceleration, which incidentally...

II recently purchased the Logitech Momo Force Feedback racing wheel from www.scan.co.uk (previously reviewed by me on Ciao) for £65 (excluding p&p). The price has gone up slightly now though.
I have found this wheel to be, in general, much better than more
There's something special about a street racing game. Granted, there have been some wonderful circuit-based racers, but, nevertheless, there's nothing quite like charging down a long, narrow straight, side by side with a rival at 200mph or expertly... more
