Before i get into this review i should tell you about the band.
SimplePlan are a five piece punk/rock/pop/whatever you want to label them band from Montreal Canada. Formed in 1999, these guys have relased two albums already, this being their third.
So lets begin!

First off I have to say, the album name? Well, I do prefer the names of the first two albums, No Pads, No Helmets?Just Balls and Still Not Getting. So to release the third album for their eagerly awaiting fans and call it SimplePlan, well it frightens me.
I'm frightened for two reasons, one i get the feeling of a huge change, a new beginning kinda thing and secondly I recently saw an interview in a magizine, and was shocked to learn that SimplePlan were going Mainstream, they want success (and they deserve it) but just what exactly would these ...
Advantages: Brilliant performances, great twists, perfectly executed in every way Disadvantages: The title isn't catchy enough
in a plane crash and decide to hide it instead of give it to the local authorities. Things get worse when they find that the money belongs to the mob.
This whole film is in fact a morality tale but told in such a brilliant way (convoluted but easy to follow) that it goes into a class of its own.
I've already said that the title of the film 'A SimplePlan' is one of the reasons why the film didn't fare so well, yet the title is perfect: No plan, no matter how simple you think it is (take the money, keep it a secret), will ever be that way once its taken to action. There are so many different factors that come into effect, all of them threatening to expose the friends for what they've done. Soon enough greed and paranoia come in and we are left with more double-crossings than a heist movie.
