Advantages: Easy to read, moving, compelling, ultimately heartwarming,
Disadvantages: A VERY quick read, starts off slow, a bit weepie!

The prose was slow and a little clunky and awkward, and the narrating protagonist, Landon Carter, seemed to have little in common with his silver-screen counterpart. Disadvantages: Bit cheesy and predictable at times.

In this book he evens worns you in the beginning but that makes the experience of reading it even more dramatic. This story is of course about love, loss, grief and change.
