Gripping and hilarious!! A great read indeed
Review of Night Frost - R.D. Wingfield by citkat

Advantages: Gripping storyline & hilarious character make it Far superior to TV series
Disadvantages: That the book had to finish.... I had to Re-Read!

...cutting corners and risk taking - with disastrous results... The character of Jack Frost is coarser than in the televised series, but his wit had me literally laughing out loud - even the second time I read it. I found myself on the edge of my seat with anticipation of what was going to happen, whilst laughing out loud at Frost's hilarious wit and his dreadful anecdotes for every occasion. I would highly recommend this book, however, I should mention that some of the crime descriptions may be quite disturbing to sensitive people, as perhaps could Jack Frost's crudeness! I loved it though; this truly is a fantastic read and in my opinion R.D. Wingfield is a genius, combining gripping, edge of your seat reading with total hilarity.... Read review

This book brilliantly illustrates how to combine the bare stems and branches of winter trees and shrubs with the evergreen of conifers and other broadleaved plants which will retain a covering of leaves throughout the winter. Planting plans guide you toward achieving the grand schemes of "foggy bottom" in the more... Read review
