I have been a long standing customer with Abbeynational and applied for a e-saver savings account on the internet a few months ago and it's never been easier.

Features of Abbeynational e-saver savings account are as follows:

*HOW TO APPLY*

Apply online at the Abbeynational website by clicking on e-saver account text on the savings catagory - then a application form appears on-screen for you to type your personal details in page by page until your application is complete. Then after you have submitted your online application within five working days you get a confirmation form to sign and send back to the appropriate address then the account is open.

*ACCOUNT FEATURES*

You can open an e-saver savings account with a minimum balance of £1.00 and add to your account by online transfer from your bank account if you hold your bank account with abbeynational. Also you can make cash and cheque deposits at an abbeynational cashpoint machines by paying in cash or cheque when the screen asks you if you want to deposit. Then when you have selected deposit the cash machine will give you an envelope to put your cash or cheque in. Then on screen it will ask you if you want to pay in cash or cheque, then type in amount of cash or cheque to pay in then make deposit. You can make withdrawals at all cashmachines with this account or by direct transfer online when you log into the account.

There is no-limit to the amount of money you can save in e-saver.

*INTEREST RATES*

The e-saver savings account offers an interest rate presently at 3.24% net including a 0.35% bonus for the first 6 months the account is open.

*OPERATING THE ACCOUNT(S)*

Once you have applied for this account and confirmed you will receive a five digit passcode and an eight digit registration number through the post with a guide on how to operate e-saver account.

In order to operate your account on screen you go onto abbeynationl e-banking website select e-banking login and then the following:

*INPUT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT CARD NUMBER OR WHICHEVER CARD NUMBER YOU USE WITH THE ACCOUNT

*THEN INPUT YOUR EIGHT DIGIT PASSCODE

*THEN INPUT YOUR FIVE DIGIT REGISTRATION NUMBER

*THEN CLICK GO ON THE SCREEN AND THEN YOUR IN TO DO YOUR TRANFERS, DEPOSITS ETC BETWEEN ACCOUNTS.

The first time you use e-banking abbeynational asks you to change registration number and passcode to something you can only remember for security reasons.

You can then change your registration number and passcode online as often as you like for security reasons.

The screen for this e-banking is great clear screen, navigation and text, very fast e-mail response and banking access in just a few seconds.

Compared to other banks internet banking, like, Barclays, Lloyds TSB etc Abbeynationals e-banking service is so quick and easy to navigate.

* PERSONAL RECOMMENDATIONS *

I use e-banking a every week and find the abbeynational website very easy to navigate and offers a good rate of interest and recommend it to potential buyers. Internet banking is great.

I will update this op more in due course as this new account is getting more features.

Thanks for reading.
