Advantages: Fantastic for pre-school children, learning animal names and sounds.
Disadvantages: Too short!!

...This is a brilliant book by the acclaimed author Rod Campbell. ~ Rod Campbell and his books ~ His books are aimed mainly at pre-school children and are nearly always about animals, here are a few titles: * Dear Zoo * Rod Campbell's Aussie Animals * ABC Zoo * Noisy Farm * Farm 123 ~ About Farm Chase ~ As the title suggests, this is a very simple book all about farm animals chasing each other. It begins with an angry bull who chases the cow, who chases the sheep and so on and so on until towards the end the cat chases the mouse. But the mouse doesn't chase anyone at all, instead he finds a nice cosy corner to fall asleep in. It ends with all of the farm animals looking in the hen pen, where, under the door flap and the flap for the hay you find the mouse fast asleep. So there you have it a very, very simple story line... Advantages: Great pop up book for young children and very educational.
Disadvantages: I would like it to have more animals in it.

It begins by inviting the reader to meet some of the animals that live on a farm. When the first page is turned there is a pop up cow in the centre of the page which causes great excitement the first time it's read. It gives a description of how cows eat grass and we get milk from them. On each page there is a pop up animal and a brief description of what they eat and what they provide for us, if anything.
