Advantages: Leaves skin very soft, ideal for people with very dry skin Disadvantages: quite greasy but soon absorbed
...of the bodyscrub is really thick and quite greasy. I found that you don't have to use a great deal, but I would have liked a bit more of the scrubby bits!! I then continued up my body and onto my arms and found that I didn't really have to use much at all. I think my tub will last me a good few months if I use it regularly.
When I dried my skin, I found it was quite greasy which some people wont like, but I was used to this as I liked to use The Sanctuary's salt scrub which left the same kind of feeling on your skin. I dried my skin by patting it gently rather than rubbing, so that the product was left on my skin to soak in. As my skin dried, it was left lovely and soft and didn't feel greasy at all. You do have to bear in mind that this particular bodyscrub is recommended for people with VERY dry skin!

Advantages: Gives clear looking glowing skin after use Disadvantages: Slightly expensive but still worth it
...rid of all dry patches on the body. I would also say this is great to use in the evening, at the end of a long day as the heating action helps ease muscles and it has a really relaxing feel to it. I put it on give myself a really good scrub all over and then I lay back and just let the warm bath water slowly dissolve the product off my skin, any residue I just remove using my hand or a damp flannel.
I must say this is one of the more expensive items in the Sanctuary range priced at just under £10 for a 400ml jar it is slightky out of my usual price range, one of the reasons I hadn't tried it before picking up my car boot bargain. However, now I have tried it I would say that I would actually pay the £10 for this item as it is so lovely and makes my skin feel so good after I have used it, maybe it's a candidate for the next 3...

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: Not effective as a body scrub
...damp your skin before you use the product, but I've found that even when you've only used a little bit of water the sugar dissolves on your skin before it does any real exfoliating.
The sugar's really really fine too - which makes this more suitable for a facial scrub rather than for the body.
It lasts around 5 seconds before it starts to dissolve, after which time all you've got it a nice smelling melon paste on your body.
I imagine that this could be good for people who have really sensitive skin, but on the whole I found it a dissapointing product.
The pack does advise that you can use it on dry skin, and then rinse well. This works better but because there's no lubrication on your skin you could use a whole pack on just one exfoliating session. Somehow using it dry just takes away the fun - it's not as easy to move around...

I was given a bottle of this oil for my 40th birthday. Given the price it will have to remain a special birthday treat and I don't think I will be buying a replacement when it is finished. It is great on your skin after the bath, really rubs in well with more

I first came across Korres on holiday in Greece. I’d never come across the make before but due to a missing case I had no toiletries of my own so had to replace them.
