...I bought this mixer as my first mixer after deciding to buy first decks and I think that it is good value for money. It is quite simplistic, but I realised quickly you don't need something fancy when you are just learning to beatmatch. It is simple but what it does, it does well. The USB function is a good feature you don't get in a lot of mixers in this price range, I havent yet used it to record a mix but from what i have read it isnt hard to do if you have the right program and is useful if you only have a laptop which only has a USB and not standard audio connection that you get on desktops and wanna record a mix. I have had it a year now and am now looking to upgrade, but this only because my mixing has come on from what I have learnt from this mixer, and I want to add more to my mix with functions like kill switches, effects... The range of effects is vast and they cann be combined to create a good range of sounds. You store the sounds in banks and they can be accessed through the floor pedal board. The effect quality is very good and the programming of the sounds is easy. You get 64 standard settings and can set 64 more The manual gives a good start to the unit and allows you to get into the creation of effects quickly. The best way to learn to use it is to have a go and you soon will pick it up. Advantages: easy access to high frets, gorgeous guitar

...Slender body, symmetrical cut outs, gorgeous cherry colour, this is one guitar that promises an excellent sound. I managed to get my hands on one of these beauties second hand for £90 courtesy of my local cash converters. The retail price for an SG is approximately £350 new, £200 second hand so it was a bargain. I play mostly lead riffs so this guitar was a god-send. Because of the unique shape of the guitar, it allows access to all the frets and even allows you to fret off the fret board! The sound from the guitar is immaculate, especially if you use a set of 9's strings. Through the amp, it gives a clear crisp sound and responds well to any usually fiddly notes like bends and hammer-ons. It also retains good sound when used with distortion or other effects through an effects pedal.... Read review
