    WHAT IS IT: Accessorize is a high street jewellery and accessories shop which you can find in most city centres. It is owned by the same company as clothing store Monsoon and can often be found next to or inside a Monsoon store. There are around 240 Accessorize stores in the UK. Stores sell a range of products aimed at women, children and men including bags, purses, jewellery, scarves and shoes.     Advantages Advantages Nice range, you'll feel like you just walked into a pirates cave, laden with treasure.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Price and quality don't see eye-to-eye.

    Accessorize is fantastic. They are specialists in the feild of shiny, shiny objects, and the items they sell are gorgeously crafted. I often recieve compliments on my wacky jewelry collection, and half of it comes from Accessorize. My most recent purchases were a pair of purple drop earrings for a friend (she loved them), a set of sparkly bangles in shades of green for £4, a 3-chain necklace that I got in the sale for £3.50- should have been £12, so I was pleased, and a mock-silver choker with blue diamond-shaped pieces for £8.     About the shop Accessorize is a stalwart of the British High Street. It started when the clothing store Monsoon began selling accessories, which became so popular that Accessorize was born! You still often come across small Accessorize concessions in Monsoon stores, and you access the Accessorize website via the Monsoon one! What does the shop sell? The clue is in the name - accessories, accessories, accessories!!! Here you can buy everything from hairclips to earrings, and from scarves to flip-flops. Most of the jewellery is costume jewellery but they do now stock a sterling silver range ... more

    You know when you see something that is just so perfect you have got to have it? Well, that was how it was with me and a rather expensive pair of suede lilac shoes - as they were to go with an outfit for a wedding I thought the expense was justified but it didn't leave me much in the budget for a matching bag - a bag in the same shop which would have been perfect was more than twice the price of the shoes - even I couldn’t justify that! After wandering round a variety of department stores a friend suggested Accessorize. I have always thought that at 38 I was maybe just a little bit too ... more

    I absolutely love Accessorize. It's got to be one of the few shops around that is almost guaranteed to sell what you're looking for (accessory wise, of course!). Not only that, but the stores are set out in such a way that make searching for that perfect handbag, scarf, hat, necklace,..... so easy. I often find myself wondering around the local store, even though I have no intention of buying anything, simply because it's so stylish, colourful and inviting. The products are displayed along the walls according to colour and type. For example, all the blue jewelry will be arranged together next ... more
